Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edoardo Rizzo made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Alvaro Bottega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Nobile. Alvaro Bottega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Carmine Vitelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rovere AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Vitelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Romagnoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edoardo Rizzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonello Vespa in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diego Nobile, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bernardo Festa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Alvaro Bottega struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Diego Nobile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montecchio. After a defensive mix-up in Rovere AFC's zone, Antonello Vespa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Nobile came out of the goal and Antonello Vespa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th match minute, Rovere AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Tundo to maneuver through the defense. Diego Nobile came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Montecchio's Antonello Vespa. But to his dismay, Antonello Vespa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Edoardo Rizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attilio Moscatelli's late challenge caught a Rovere AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attilio Moscatelli helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Montecchio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rovere AFC:s goal. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Rovere AFC. Federico Tundo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Federico Romagnoli. 2-1. Diego Nobile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Bottega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edoardo Rizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alvaro Bottega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montecchio's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Bottega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Bottega to make the kick off. If Alvaro Bottega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Bottega in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Nobile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmine Vitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Federico Romagnoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Demetrio Strano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Felice Zara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montecchio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Zara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonello Vespa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Nobile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Bottega, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Federico Romagnoli made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Carmine Vitelli sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Antonello Vespa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Nobile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Alvaro Bottega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Antonello Vespa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Montecchio's Antonello Vespa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Nobile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
