Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fulvio Palone started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Catese AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Grandis came free, but Alessio De Meis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Palone in the 7th minute of play forced Cotignola's goalkeeper Camillo Belfiore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camillo Bergamini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alessio De Meis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anfilogino Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Donato Zarillo looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Alessio De Meis. 30 minutes into the match, Cotignola's Anfilogino Grandis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessio De Meis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anfilogino Grandis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio De Meis having to interfere. Camillo Belfiore came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Catese AFC's Fulvio Palone. But to his dismay, Fulvio Palone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Camillo Bergamini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alessio De Meis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alessio De Meis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Bergamini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cotignola's Anfilogino Grandis got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Diego Fortuna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotignola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catese AFC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Cotignola got a freekick which was hit by Diego Fortuna. In the 62nd minute of the match Domenico Giannotti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camillo Belfiore skillfully saved the ball. Corrado Moreschi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Alfonso Alleva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cotignola and the Catese AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Cotignola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Alleva to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Anfilogino Grandis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessio De Meis was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Catese AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Grandis came free, but Alessio De Meis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Borgatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cotignola's Camillo Bergamini got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camillo Bergamini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. When Fulvio Palone came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Catese AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulvio Palone couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Bergamini in the 87th minute of play forced Catese AFC's goalkeeper Alessio De Meis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Palone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Belfiore having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
