Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Biagio Scarano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Biagio Scarano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrigo Leoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Scarano in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Mellana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Vanni came free, but Flavio Fiore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Alfonso Mantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicomero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Mantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Mellana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Manzi to maneuver through the defense. Armin Vanni struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Flavio Fiore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicomero. 44 minutes into the match, Vicomero's Armin Vanni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Fiore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute Anfilogino Marzoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Fiore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mellana AFC's Flavio Fiore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Montagna in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Montagna to make the kick off. Cosimo Lampa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arrigo Leoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Mellana AFC's goalkeeper Flavio Fiore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armin Vanni. If Armin Vanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Armin Vanni lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Flavio Fiore. Arrigo Leoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Lampa in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armin Vanni got free with Flavio Fiore in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mellana AFC's goalkeeper Flavio Fiore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Vicomero booed when Mellana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter De Laurentiis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Montagna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Fiore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cosimo Lampa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Lampa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arrigo Leoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
