Dario Canzano's late challenge caught a Vicomero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Canzano helped the player get up and apologised. Dario Canzano hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. From a short distance, Vicomero's Ciro Montagna, in the 5th minute, tried to place the ball behind Camillo Ferraris, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Emiliano Leopardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vicomero's Anfilogino Marzoli got a free kick in the 12th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Poggioreale's Felice Cannone broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 17th match minute, Vicomero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Montagna to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Comunardo Ronca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Leoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Leopardi struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Arrigo Leoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poggioreale. When Bianco Barbato fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vicomero's protests and gave Bianco Barbato a yellow card for diving instead. Bianco Barbato kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Arrigo Leoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Cannone in the 26th minute of play. When Armin Vanni came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vicomero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Vanni couldn't finish the play. Camillo Ferraris made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ciro Montagna sent off a good shot on target. Comunardo Ronca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Montagna made a kick off. Armin Vanni scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camillo Ferraris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Poggioreale getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edoardo Chizzo hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Ciro Montagna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Camillo Ferraris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camillo Ferraris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Montagna in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Poggioreale's Emiliano Leopardi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arrigo Leoni. Arrigo Leoni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After 87 minutes, Alberigo Gualtieri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poggioreale and the Vicomero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Poggioreale got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Gualtieri. Comunardo Ronca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicomero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Poggioreale for a fine match.
