Fausto Sardella charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Sardella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fausto Sardella kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cangia's goalkeeper Arrigo Del Monaco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arrigo Del Monaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Melucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cangia's goalkeeper Arrigo Del Monaco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Palumbo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Arrigo Del Monaco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polenta. 91 minutes into the match, Cangia's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Melucci came free, but Arrigo Del Monaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Palumbo succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The Polenta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
