Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enzo Serra started the match with the kick off. Anfilogino Caruso kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Cornaredo FC's Fabio Fantini broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Angelo Di Florio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessio Pietrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Serra in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Cornaredo FC's Angelo Di Florio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arrigo Del Monaco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Angelo Di Florio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Del Monaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Alessio Pietrini managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Cangia's Francesco Giocondo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Cornaredo FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Flavio Muzzolon hit a great ball. Comunardo Andreozzi's late challenge caught a Cornaredo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Andreozzi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cangia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Comunardo Andreozzi hit a great ball. Fabio Fantini, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Cornaredo FC's Dino Barducci made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arrigo Del Monaco was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Francesco Giocondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

53 minutes into the match, Cornaredo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Giocondo came free, but Alessio Pietrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Cangia and the Cornaredo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Dino Barducci took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Arrigo Del Monaco to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Riso during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Cornaredo FC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Riso. Francesco Giocondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alessio Pietrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Peca during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cornaredo FC booed when Cangia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Peca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Di Florio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Del Monaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Barducci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Serra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Cangia's Francesco Giocondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessio Pietrini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.
