The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelio Caroselli to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Emilio Di Mario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roncofreddo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Di Mario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Aversano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Davide Di Francesco fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roncofreddo AFC's protests and gave Davide Di Francesco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Roncofreddo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Di Francesco to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Di Mario might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Aversano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beppe Piccone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cristoforo Astolfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Antonio Ruzzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roncofreddo AFC and the Soliera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Soliera FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Roncofreddo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Roncofreddo AFC.
