After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alvaro Chiappini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acquasanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Chiappini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Cicchinelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Concetto Scatena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acquasanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dennis Alonzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Coco in the 25th minute of play. Vallenoncello AFC's Carmine Cicchinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Scatena in the 28th minute of play. Alexander Coco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Alonzi having to interfere. In the 38th minute Concetto Scatena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Cicchinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vallenoncello AFC booed when Acquasanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Raniolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Scatena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Cicchinelli having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Coco in the 68th minute of play forced Acquasanta's goalkeeper Dennis Alonzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Biagio Vaiani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Concetto Scatena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
