Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ermanno Ascenzi kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Tomba Di Nerone getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ferruccio Barducci hit a great ball. Anthony Di Iorio, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Daniele Piacentini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomba Di Nerone's Enzo Trotta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Hell in the 19th minute of play. Enzo Trotta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Ranalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Daniele Piacentini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomba Di Nerone's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniele Piacentini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Taglieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malagnino FC's Fausto Taglieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Ascenzi in the 34th minute of play. When Daniele Piacentini came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Tomba Di Nerone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Piacentini couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermanno Ascenzi in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Taglieri saved Malagnino FC from getting behind. Daniele Piacentini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Trotta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Hell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Hell made a kick off. Enzo Trotta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Ranalli in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Alfonso Crema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Tomba Di Nerone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Epifani to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Malagnino FC's Alberto Moschetta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Trotta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The corner led Tomba Di Nerone's Amedeo Citrullo to fire away a dangerous shot which Fausto Taglieri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Tomba Di Nerone's goalkeeper Enzo Trotta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Moschetta. Alberto Hell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Malagnino FC's goalkeeper Fausto Taglieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Daniele Piacentini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malagnino FC's Fausto Taglieri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ermanno Ascenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomba Di Nerone's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Ascenzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Taglieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Taglieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Ascenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Taglieri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermanno Ascenzi's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Ermanno Ascenzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomba Di Nerone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Ascenzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Piacentini in the 92nd minute of play forced Malagnino FC's goalkeeper Fausto Taglieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Malagnino FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Crema. In the 96th minute, Malagnino FC's Alberto Hell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enzo Trotta. Enzo Trotta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2.
