Pievequinta AFC's Adriano Magliocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Campana in the 24th minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferruccio Tundo was the one to do the kick off. Alberigo Biancone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Tundo in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peretti FC's Arrigo Taglieri got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alberigo Biancone came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pievequinta AFC's Ferruccio Tundo. But to his dismay, Ferruccio Tundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Adriano Magliocco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edoardo Campana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. When Ferruccio Tundo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Pievequinta AFC fans jumped to their feet. Adriano Magliocco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmine Marongiu in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Peretti FC's Edoardo Campana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Magliocco narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
