Cristoforo Di Campli came out of the goal and Ferruccio Tundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Magliocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Pelati in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Armando Coletti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristoforo Di Campli, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ferruccio Tundo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cristoforo Di Campli to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Civalleri AFC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Di Campli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ferruccio Tundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo Di Campli was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Armando Coletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. In the 38th minute Eraldo Romagnoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Magliocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Magliocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Pelati in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Enrico La Penna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Magliocco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

If Enrico La Penna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Demetrio Pelati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ferruccio Tundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pievequinta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Tundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Coletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Coletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Di Campli having to interfere. Ferruccio Tundo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cristoforo Di Campli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pievequinta AFC. 83 minutes into the match, Civalleri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Coletti came free, but Cristoforo Di Campli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Eraldo Romagnoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ferruccio Tundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
