Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dario Scevola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Tarantini in the 5th minute of play. Fedele Tarantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Levata's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Briganti came free, but Amedeo Rosati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Alessio Scarpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Levata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Scarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gionzana's zone, Fedele Tarantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Scevola came out of the goal and Fedele Tarantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Domenico Ciraci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Alessio Scarpa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Scevola. Gionzana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessio Scarpa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Alessio Scarpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Levata's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Briganti came free, but Amedeo Rosati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gionzana's Alessandro Briganti got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Levata's Amedeo Rosati got control of the ball when Ernesto Martelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Alessio Scarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Scevola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Scarpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Scevola having to interfere. Dario Scevola came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Levata's Alessio Scarpa. But to his dismay, Alessio Scarpa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedele Tarantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gionzana's Dario Scevola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Gionzana from getting a goal against them. Alessio Scarpa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Dario Scevola made a huge save. Fedele Tarantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dario Scevola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Scevola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Tarantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dario Scevola made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Alessio Scarpa sent off a good shot on target. Ernesto Martelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Amedeo Rosati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alessio Scarpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Alessandro Briganti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Rosati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gionzana's Ernesto Martelli got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Ernesto Martelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gionzana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Martelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes, Ferruccio Casale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Levata and the Gionzana players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gionzana booed when Levata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Casale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gionzana's Dave Muzi tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Gionzana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Levata's performance. The match ended with a win for Levata.
