An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Delle Donne in the 44th minute of play forced Cabanette FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Orioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Anelli to make the kick off. Alvaro Bianco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Anelli in the 51st minute of play. Aldo Anelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alvaro Bianco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Armin Gigli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesicuro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabanette FC the free kick. The supporters of Cabanette FC booed when Montesicuro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Gigli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montesicuro FC's zone, Alessandro Baggio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Bianco came out of the goal and Alessandro Baggio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Bianco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Anelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Franco Delle Donne might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Orioli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Delle Donne ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Alessandro Baggio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Bianco. Montesicuro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Baggio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Montesicuro FC's Alvaro Bianco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Baggio in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Montesicuro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Baggio came free, but Alvaro Bianco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Alessandro Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Bianco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Amerigo Giorgio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
