Demetrio Lepori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alvaro Bianco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amerigo Di Cesare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Bianco having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Demetrio Lepori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demetrio Lepori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Franco Delle Donne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Aureli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Bianco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Lepori in the 15th minute of play. Amerigo Giorgio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio Lepori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Franco Delle Donne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Aldo Di Martino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caio and the Montesicuro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Aldo Di Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Demetrio Lepori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amerigo Giorgio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Bianco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Di Cesare in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Caio's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Delle Donne came free, but Arturo Aureli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amerigo Di Cesare came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Caio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amerigo Di Cesare couldn't finish the play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio Lepori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Bianco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Lepori, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee gave Elia Guerriero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Caio booed when Montesicuro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Guerriero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Petruzzi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alvaro Bianco made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Amerigo Di Cesare sent off a good shot on target. After 86 minutes, Frank De Rubeis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caio and the Montesicuro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caio's Frank De Rubeis got a free kick in the 86th minute. Amerigo Di Cesare who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Bianco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alexander Ascenzi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, one of Montesicuro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Alvaro Bianco, was totally fooled by Caio's Arturo Petruzzi, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Montesicuro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caio's performance. The match ended with a win for Caio.
