Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ennio Panza started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Ennio Panza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solzago FC's Cosimo Palomba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fanano's Ennio Panza got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alberigo Pellegrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Meazza, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Solzago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Panza came free, but Cosimo Palomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Ennio Panza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Solzago FC's Cosimo Palomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Panza in the 24th minute of play. Claudio Stella made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Fausto Scivittaro sent off a good shot on target. Elia Fagnani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Claudio Stella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fanano's Fausto Giacchetti got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Elia Fagnani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Fanano got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Giacchetti. The corner ended in Alberto Castrucci almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fanano's Claudio Stella did a great save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elia Fagnani made a kick off. Claudio Tacco hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Alfonso Vinciguerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Stella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Scivittaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fausto Scivittaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Fausto Scivittaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Stella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Solzago FC's Fausto Scivittaro in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fanano's goalie prevented a goal. Cosimo Palomba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Pellegrini went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alberigo Pellegrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Palomba having to interfere. Alberigo Olivieri kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Ferdinando Ansoldi fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solzago FC's protests and gave Ferdinando Ansoldi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fanano booed when Solzago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Ansoldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Ennio Panza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fanano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
