Aldo Cipolla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Lucchetti in the 30th minute of the match. Florian Manfredi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cartabbia's zone, Daniele Lucchetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Cipolla came out of the goal and Daniele Lucchetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 41 minutes on the clock, Camillo Vulcano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cartabbia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Acquarossa AFC a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ferdinando Matteucci, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cartabbia's Aldo Cipolla. 0-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acquarossa AFC's goalkeeper Alvaro Rosi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Cartabbia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Acquarossa AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Fabri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Fabri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Rotondi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Cipolla having to interfere. Aldo Cipolla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Bottaro in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Angelo Rotondi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Cipolla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Cipolla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Rotondi in the 80th minute of play. Cartabbia's Aldo Cipolla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Rotondi in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Alessio Pan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Rosi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Angelo Rotondi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acquarossa AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
