Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Demetrio Antenucci took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Alessandro Mei fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quarto's protests and gave Alessandro Mei a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Alessandro Mei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Clementi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Bozzelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Emilio Alleva made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Angelo Scarinci sent off a good shot on target. Emilio Alleva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Antenucci in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Sesto San Giovanni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Motta to maneuver through the defense. When Bernardo Di Cicco came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Quarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Di Cicco couldn't finish the play. Cosimo Di Giambattista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aldo Bozzelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quarto's Aldo Bozzelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Clementi in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Angelo Scarinci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Alleva. Sesto San Giovanni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Scarinci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fabio Maurizi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Angelo Scarinci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Scarinci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Alleva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvise Bartolucci hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Angelo Scarinci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Sesto San Giovanni's Bernardo Clementi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldo Bozzelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Scarinci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Emilio Alleva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Alvise Bartolucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Angelo Scarinci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Quarto's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Di Giambattista came free, but Aldo Bozzelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Antenucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emilio Alleva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Alleva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Scarinci in the 80th minute of play. Christian Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Emilio Alleva came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Quarto's Demetrio Antenucci. But to his dismay, Demetrio Antenucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio Antenucci in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Alleva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bernardo Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Cosimo Di Giambattista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sesto San Giovanni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Quarto's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
