Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Pierdomenico started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Malanghero getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fabio Casadei hit a great ball. Malanghero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Diego Pierdomenico scored to the left of an out of position Achille Cerasoli, making the score, 1-0. If Diego Pierdomenico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Scrima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Cerasoli having to interfere. Malanghero's Achille Cerasoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Pierdomenico in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian De Meis in the 16th minute of play forced Rivera FC's goalkeeper Alberto Prisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rivera FC's zone, Christian De Meis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Prisco came out of the goal and Christian De Meis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Malanghero's Achille Cerasoli got control of the ball when Ennio Scrima tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 minutes, Dennis Casciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivera FC and the Malanghero players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Dennis Casciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian De Meis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Prisco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Ennio Scrima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian De Meis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Pierdomenico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Alfonso Rainaldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Alberto Carozza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Christian De Meis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malanghero's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian De Meis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Prisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Rainaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

57 minutes into the game, Alfonso Rainaldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alberto Prisco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the game, Diego Di Fonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malanghero the free kick. Cosimo Tamburrini charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosimo Tamburrini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Malanghero got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Tamburrini. Alfonso Rainaldi took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Prisco. Alberto Prisco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 91 minutes into the match, Malanghero's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Pierdomenico came free, but Achille Cerasoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rivera FC's Ennio Scrima in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malanghero's goalie prevented a goal. The Rivera FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malanghero's performance. The match ended with a win for Malanghero.
