Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Palladino made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Monta's Angelo Palladino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Comunardo Mattioli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Misinto FC were furious when Amerigo Sartori was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. If Cesare Prandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Testa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Monta's Alberto Ruggieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Prandini in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Antonello Salemme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Pezzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comunardo Mattioli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Pezzi ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Testa during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alessandro Testa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Comunardo Mattioli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Pezzi in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Cesare Prandini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Angelo Palladino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Misinto FC's Comunardo Mattioli. Comunardo Mattioli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesare Prandini might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Ruggieri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesare Prandini ran back to his position shaking his head. Comunardo Mattioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Palladino in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Prandini to make the kick off. Angelo Palladino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesare Matteucci charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesare Matteucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cesare Matteucci hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Graziani during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Augusto Graziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Comunardo Mattioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Palladino in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Angelo Palladino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Comunardo Mattioli was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Angelo Palladino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Mattioli having to interfere. Angelo Palladino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Comunardo Mattioli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Mattioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Pezzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comunardo Mattioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Palladino in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Monta's goalkeeper Alberto Ruggieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonello Salemme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alberto Ruggieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesare Prandini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Alberto Ruggieri made a huge save. If Cesare Prandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Misinto FC's zone, Alvaro Pezzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Mattioli came out of the goal and Alvaro Pezzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Misinto FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
