Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dennis Di Marino took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Castel Guelfo got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Topatigh. Thanks to some nice moves Cosimo Tundo could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Fabiano Di Giuseppe however easily saved by the left post. Cristiano Topatigh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Demetrio Giorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Castel Guelfo's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Di Marino came free, but Fabiano Di Giuseppe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Enrico Lemme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristiano Topatigh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes, Castel Guelfo's Elia Di Fabio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demetrio Giorda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castel Guelfo reached it. Ferdinando Gentili kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Ferdinando Gentili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Banne FC's Ferdinando Biagetti tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Demetrio Giorda came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Castel Guelfo's Cristiano Topatigh. But to his dismay, Cristiano Topatigh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 41st minute, Bruno Di Cintio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Piola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Banne FC's Demetrio Giorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Topatigh in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Castel Guelfo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the game, Castel Guelfo's Dave Piola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demetrio Giorda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 56 minutes into the match, Dave Piola notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Banne FC's Demetrio Giorda. Demetrio Giorda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 61 minutes, Adriano Vani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banne FC and the Castel Guelfo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Castel Guelfo's Elia Di Fabio tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dennis Di Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castel Guelfo's goalkeeper Fabiano Di Giuseppe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, Banne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Biagetti to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio Giorda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Piola in the 74th minute. Dennis Di Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fabiano Di Giuseppe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Dennis Di Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Di Giuseppe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Di Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Di Giuseppe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Castel Guelfo's Cristiano Topatigh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Dave Piola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Demetrio Giorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castel Guelfo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
