Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bruno Del Bello made the kick off which started today's match. Bruno Del Bello was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Solzago AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Comunardo Galeone got free in front of the goal in the 6th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bianco Colle was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Pionca's Bianco Colle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Del Bello in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Concetto Bonsignore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pionca's supporters rose to their feet, but Concetto Bonsignore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Corsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bruno Del Bello came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Solzago AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Del Bello couldn't finish the play. When Frank Giusti fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pionca's protests and gave Frank Giusti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Frank Giusti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Del Bello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Solzago AFC's zone, Frank Giusti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Corsi came out of the goal and Frank Giusti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Concetto Bonsignore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Corsi having to interfere. Emanuele Corsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Giusti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Giusti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Pionca got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Tabacchi. Solzago AFC were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Pionca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fulvio Petito took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Comunardo Rosati managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Giusti made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Ettore Cammarota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuele Corsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Giusti in the 56th minute of play. If Bruno Del Bello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Colle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Del Bello in the 63rd minute of the match. Bianco Colle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Galeone, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute Bruno Del Bello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Colle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pionca getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anselmo Tabacchi hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Pionca defense, Comunardo Galeone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bianco Colle. The Pionca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bianco Colle should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Solzago AFC's Emanuele Corsi got control of the ball when Concetto Bonsignore tried to sneak it across the goal line.
