Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dennis Marconi kicked off to start the match. Sovico FC's Armando Di Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Marconi in the 5th minute of play. Elia Galli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Tondi struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Enzo Cardillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sovico FC. Armin Vianello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Massa's Armin Vianello came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Armando Di Vito had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The Massa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Cardillo should have stopped the shot.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Galli to make the kick off. After 97 minutes, Eraldo Addario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sovico FC and the Massa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sovico FC's Eraldo Addario got a free kick in the 97th minute. If Armin Vianello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Massa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sovico FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
