Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Achille Scalabrino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Biancone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alexander Sansoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Mensa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Fiordelisi came free, but Edoardo Sartori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Flavio Colantoni, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Edoardo Sartori was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Marina Romea's Flavio Colantoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Sartori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Achille Scalabrino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Achille Scalabrino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Sansoni having to interfere. The supporters of Mensa FC booed when Marina Romea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Scarinci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Sansoni made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Cristoforo Biancone sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Ferdinando Bravo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ermanno Troilo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Sansoni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fulvio Fiordelisi scored 1-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edoardo Sartori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
