Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armando Fini took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anselmo Cavallucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Achille Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Amadei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alfonso Milani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rotta's Damiano Amadei in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Croce Verde's goalie prevented a goal. The Rotta fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Rotta's Damiano Amadei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Armando Fini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achille Sergi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Alex Malvezzi charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Malvezzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Malvezzi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Rotta's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Cavallucci came free, but Achille Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rotta's Achille Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Fini in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Rotta defense, Anselmo Cavallucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Achille Sergi. The Rotta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Achille Sergi should have stopped the shot. Frank Di Mascio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Aldo Mingione fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rotta's protests and gave Aldo Mingione a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Croce Verde booed when Rotta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Mingione didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes, Croce Verde's Anthony Sciamanna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Achille Sergi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Croce Verde reached it. 46 minutes into the game, Anselmo Cavallucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croce Verde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rotta the free kick. After 47 played minutes Croce Verde got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Cavallucci. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Amadei in the 48th minute of play forced Croce Verde's goalkeeper Alfonso Milani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Damiano Amadei made the kick off in the second half. Ferdinando Coccolone's late challenge caught a Croce Verde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Coccolone helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Armin Fallito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Elia Di Piazza in the 58th minute really tested Achille Sergi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Amadei in the 60th minute of play forced Croce Verde's goalkeeper Alfonso Milani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Cavallucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achille Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Fini in the 68th minute of play. If Anselmo Cavallucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damiano Amadei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alfonso Milani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Croce Verde's Armando Fini got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eugenio Bozzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Anselmo Cavallucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croce Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Cavallucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille Sergi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damiano Amadei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alfonso Milani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rotta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
