Fiesso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stagno AFC the free kick. Fabio Borrelli kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Fiesso's Arrigo Pani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Gabriele in the 9th minute of play. When Christian Panino came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Fiesso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Panino couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes, Ciro Soccio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fiesso and the Stagno AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciro Soccio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ciro Soccio was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 16 played minutes Fiesso got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Soccio. Concetto Gabriele kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stagno AFC's Carmine Cirelli got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Arrigo Pani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Gabriele, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cristoforo Mazzocchi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Arturo Sebastiani might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arrigo Pani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Sebastiani ran back to his position shaking his head. Davide De Lorenzi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Concetto Gabriele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stagno AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Gabriele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Concetto Gabriele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Stagno AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Novella to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Sebastiani scored 1-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arrigo Pani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto Gabriele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Concetto Gabriele came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Stagno AFC fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 53 minutes, Cristoforo Mazzocchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiesso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristoforo Mazzocchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Concetto Gabriele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Panino took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmondo Pietrantoni. Edmondo Pietrantoni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Concetto Gabriele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 66th minute, but Edmondo Pietrantoni got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Stagno AFC hanging dry this time. Fiesso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilio Gerosa in the 71st minute. Emilio Gerosa made a great header on Fiesso's corner, it was just that Stagno AFC's Edmondo Pietrantoni managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Panino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Pani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Gabriele in the 86th minute of play. Stagno AFC's Arturo Sebastiani got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Fabio Borrelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
