Alfonso Di Florio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonello Giacchetti's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Carlo Paglione hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Antonello Giacchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Di Florio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulvio Hell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Giandomenico in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cristiano Piano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prospiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Piano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Di Florio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonello Giacchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio Petito was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. San Giuliano's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Prospiano FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Armin Milani hit a great ball. 22 minutes in the game, Fabiano Giandomenico fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fulvio Hell having to interfere. In the 26th minute, San Giuliano's Fabiano Giandomenico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 32nd minute, one of San Giuliano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Giuliano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio Petito in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulvio Hell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 39 minutes, Ennio Petito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Giuliano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ennio Petito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ennio Petito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Hell having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Piano made a kick off. After a rather tough play, San Giuliano's Carlo Paglione got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cristiano Piano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Di Florio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Prospiano FC's Christian Madonna got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, San Giuliano's Ennio Petito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulvio Hell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fulvio Hell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Hell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Giandomenico, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With his leg Alfonso Di Florio managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Prospiano FC's Cristiano Piano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bernardo Piccoli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfonso Di Florio came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Piccoli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 85th minute. Fulvio Hell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Giandomenico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulvio Hell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Giandomenico went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Fabiano Giandomenico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Fulvio Hell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
