The referee ignored Dorgagnano's protests and gave Enzo Boldrini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Enzo Boldrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Rosato in the 8th minute of play forced Boschetto's goalkeeper Carlo Filice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dorgagnano fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Dorgagnano's Cosimo Rosato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Donato Di Tommaso hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Enzo Boldrini was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Enzo Boldrini kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damiano Polo got free with Bernardo Bardella in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Damiano Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damiano Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Bardella having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Damiano Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boschetto's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Bardella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Dorgagnano's Bernardo Bardella got control of the ball when Damiano Polo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesare Muto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carlo Palone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Bardella was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th match minute, Dorgagnano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Renzetti to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Palone struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bernardo Bardella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boschetto. Damiano Polo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Cesare Muto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Damiano Polo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Bardella was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Bernardo Bardella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Palone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damiano Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bernardo Bardella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Palone in the 74th minute of play forced Dorgagnano's goalkeeper Bernardo Bardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Boschetto's zone, Cosimo Rosato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Filice came out of the goal and Cosimo Rosato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorgagnano's Adriano Suriani got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Boschetto got a freekick which was hit by Donato Di Tommaso. After 86 minutes of play Dorgagnano's Cesare Muto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cesare Muto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dorgagnano's Bernardo Bardella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Polo in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Damiano Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boschetto's supporters rose to their feet, but Damiano Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Bardella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
