That was the end of his participation in the match. After 27 played minutes Dorgagnano got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Rosato. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Como in the 28th minute of play forced Dorgagnano's goalkeeper Bernardo Bardella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Show Must Go On !'s Emiliano Mori got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Mori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Berardinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Bardella having to interfere. Federico Rigoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Bardella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The referee gave Dorgagnano a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amedeo Renzetti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Show Must Go On !'s Dave Tenaglia. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Show Must Go On !'s Emiliano Mori got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Dorgagnano players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
