Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edoardo Lampa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enzo Mercuri struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Antonio Rulli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfaterna. Ernesto Cappucci was a little too slow when Edoardo Lampa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Dario Zinni came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Soprabolzano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Zinni couldn't finish the play. Enzo Mercuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Rulli having to interfere. If Franco Laurenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Franco Laurenti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Rulli was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Enzo Mercuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Antonio Rulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfaterna's Franco Laurenti got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Zinni struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ernesto Cappucci made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Dario Zinni sent off a good shot on target. Edoardo Lampa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cappucci having to interfere. Antonio Rulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Laurenti in the 42nd minute of the match. If Dario Zinni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Soprabolzano AFC booed when Alfaterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Scotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Antonio Rulli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Laurenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Franco Laurenti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antonio Rulli, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 64 minutes, Dario Zinni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soprabolzano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Zinni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edoardo Lampa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cappucci having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Laurenti in the 72nd minute of play forced Soprabolzano AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Rulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Cappucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Lampa in the 73rd minute of the match. Enzo Mercuri charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Mercuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Enzo Mercuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Dario Zinni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franco Laurenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bianco Ippoliti's late challenge caught a Soprabolzano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Ippoliti helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Soprabolzano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Bontempi. Antonio Rulli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Laurenti's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Alfaterna's Armin Grossi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Armin Grossi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Alfaterna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Armin Grossi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 92 minutes into the game, one of Alfaterna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dario Zinni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soprabolzano AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alfaterna for a fine match.
