Atletico Acilia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosimo Spitaleri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ravalle's Bernardo Scotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Silvestre in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Acilia booed when Ravalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Scotti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Silvestre in the 34th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ravalle's Eugenio Lusi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuele Cannone. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. 40 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Ceci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ravalle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Acilia the free kick. Anfilogino Ceci hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Lusi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuele Cannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Campo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Ravalle's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Ferraro came free, but Bernardo Scotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferruccio Silvestre struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bernardo Scotti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Acilia. In the 82nd minute Eugenio Lusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Cannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Giannetta might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Scotti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some careless play in the Ravalle defense, Alfredo Ferraro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Scotti. The Ravalle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Scotti should have stopped the shot. Ferruccio Silvestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
