Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ercole Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alvise Sarnelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Avegno's protests and gave Ercole Negri a yellow card for diving instead. Ercole Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Florian Ballerini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes, Carmine Roberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avegno and the Porto Fuori players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Avegno's Cristoforo Panico got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alvise Sarnelli. Porto Fuori's Biagio Scannella got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Biagio Scannella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Miranda having to interfere. Aldo Spadoni charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Biagio Scannella came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Porto Fuori fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Scannella couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Avegno had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
