Ennio Baur came out of the goal and Florian Barberio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Barberios short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Ennio Baur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Felice De Marchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute, Alfonso Cappucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ennio Ruggeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 15 played minutes, Spaccasassi FC's Bernardo Campo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesare Pietrantoni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spaccasassi FC reached it. Cesare Pietrantoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Zarillo in the 16th minute of play. Passionata's Felice De Marchi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ennio Ruggeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Spaccasassi FC booed when Passionata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Barberio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Felice De Marchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spaccasassi FC's Ennio Baur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Spaccasassi FC from getting a goal against them. Ennio Ruggeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice De Marchi in the 41st minute of play forced Spaccasassi FC's goalkeeper Ennio Baur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Felice De Marchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Ennio Baur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice De Marchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Pietrantoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ennio Ruggeri's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Andrea Belardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ennio Baur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ennio Baur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Barberio in the 67th minute of the match. Florian Barberio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio Ruggeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Pietrantoni having to interfere. Diego Zarillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cesare Pietrantoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Zarillo got free with Cesare Pietrantoni in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
