The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Biagio Perazzolo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Salvagnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Casal Delle Palme's Bianco Piccioli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvise Garofoli. Alvise Garofoli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bianco Piccioli got free with Alvise Garofoli in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ne FC's Alvise Garofoli got control of the ball when Bianco Piccioli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casal Delle Palme's Cristoforo Salvagnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Pennetta in the 38th minute of play. Achille Pennetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cristoforo Salvagnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvise Garofoli made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Bianco Piccioli sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Atroce made a kick off. When Alexander Atroce came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Casal Delle Palme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Atroce couldn't finish the play. Alvise Garofoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Piccioli in the 56th minute of play. Cristoforo Salvagnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Ne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Atroce came free, but Alvise Garofoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Casal Delle Palme's Alexander Atroce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvise Garofoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casal Delle Palme succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ne FC had controlled the match.
