Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Di Leonardo started the match with the kick off. Cesare Scoca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felice Giordano kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Alberto Di Leonardo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Underground's Christian Colantonio. Christian Colantonio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Underground's Edmondo Lampa threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felice Giordano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pernate AFC's goalkeeper Edmondo Lampa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Colantonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Rocchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Arrigo Picca charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arrigo Picca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Underground was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Picca to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Pernate AFC's Anselmo Rocchetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Colantonio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Christian Colantonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Rocchetti in the 34th minute of play. Anselmo Rocchetti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Colantonio having to make a save. After 37 minutes of play, Pernate AFC's Alberto Di Leonardo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Colantonio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Alberto Di Leonardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Colantonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Rocchetti in the 48th minute of play forced Underground's goalkeeper Christian Colantonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felice Giordano made a kick off. Felice Giordano scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmondo Lampa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Felice Giordano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Corrado Piattelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alberto Di Leonardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pernate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Di Leonardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Colantonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anselmo Rocchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Underground getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Emilio Bani hit a great ball. Alberto Di Leonardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Christian Colantonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Anselmo Rocchetti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Christian Colantonio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 minutes, Ferdinando Di Piazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Underground and the Pernate AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Underground's Ferdinando Di Piazza got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Anselmo Rocchetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pernate AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Anselmo Rocchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Christian Colantonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felice Giordano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Colantonio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Di Leonardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 92 minute of play. The Underground fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pernate AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
