Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emilio Brunelli kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Rescalda AFC's Arrigo Busillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro De Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro De Rossi stood somewhat misplaced when Emilio Brunelli came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. When Monzoro's Ercole Barchiesi in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rescalda AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 minutes of play, Monzoro's Ercole Molinaro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Corleone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmondo Giardino kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Arrigo Busillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rescalda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arrigo Busillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ercole Molinaro charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ercole Molinaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Monzoro's Ercole Molinaro got a free kick in the 29th minute. Donato Garofalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alvaro De Rossi. Monzoro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Monzoro's Alvaro De Rossi got control of the ball when Arrigo Busillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilio Brunelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Monzoro getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alfredo Gizzi hit a great ball. Ercole Molinaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Corleone having to interfere. Alvaro De Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arrigo Busillo in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ercole Barchiesi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monzoro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercole Barchiesi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Corleone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercole Barchiesi to make the kick off. Alvaro De Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Brunelli's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Ercole Molinaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Alessandro Corleone made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Emilio Brunelli made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro De Rossi. Monzoro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 66th minute, Emilio Brunelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Corleone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Croce in the 70th minute of play. During the 72nd minute of the match Emilio Brunelli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emilio Brunelli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Rescalda AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Emilio Brunelli hit a great ball. 75 minutes in the game, Ercole Barchiesi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alessandro Corleone having to interfere. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monzoro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franco Eleuteri was slow to take the kick. During this time Rescalda AFC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Busillo in the 90th minute of play forced Monzoro's goalkeeper Alvaro De Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Gizzi struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alessandro Corleone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monzoro. In the 95th minute Ercole Barchiesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Corleone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monzoro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
