With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Penna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florian Cavallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Penna having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Diego Esposito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Penna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After 56 played minutes Pellicani ROMA got a freekick which was hit by Elia Mori. The audience was convinced that Achille Di Paolo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulvio Del Grosso was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Armando Di Giandomenico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Diego Esposito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Dolo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armando Di Giandomenico fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Di Giandomenico in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Penna saved Dolo FC from getting behind. Emanuele Bellone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulvio Del Grosso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Dolo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pellicani ROMA's performance. The match ended with a win for Pellicani ROMA.
