After 42 minutes of play, Spre's Fabiano Guerini made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Selvaggi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ercole Ciarrocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Armin Tacco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Mancini to make the kick off. Dino Di Girolamo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ettore Pensa having to make a save. Ettore Pensa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Tacco, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Due Maesta AFC's zone, Dave Mancini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Selvaggi came out of the goal and Dave Mancini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Selvaggi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Mancini in the 67th minute of the match. Dino Di Girolamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ettore Pensa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Leone's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Dino Di Girolamo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ercole Ciarrocchi during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
