Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dave Mancini made the kick off which started today's match. Ettore Pensa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Prosperi in the 3rd minute. Dennis Cipollini came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Spre's Dave Mancini. But to his dismay, Dave Mancini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 15th minute, Armando Corelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Prosperi got free with Ettore Pensa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Prosperi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ettore Pensa came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugenio Prosperi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 24th minute. If Eugenio Prosperi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Spre's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Falcioni came free, but Ettore Pensa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Fortunato Nazzari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 41st minute Dave Mancini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Cipollini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boys167's Dennis Cipollini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Mancini in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Spre's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Caccia came free, but Ettore Pensa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dave Mancini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Ciarrocchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dennis Cipollini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Spre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Mancini to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Fabiano Guerini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dennis Cipollini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Spre's zone, Eugenio Prosperi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Pensa came out of the goal and Eugenio Prosperi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Mancini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Spre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
