Amedeo Mucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Finocchi in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Dai Niru FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Petrini came free, but Amedeo Mucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ciro Schiavo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dennis Trevisani to make any attempt to save it. Amedeo Mucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Finocchi in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Dai Niru FC booed when Bernolda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Finocchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Alexander Petrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bernolda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dai Niru FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Alexander Petrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bernolda AFC's zone, Arturo Del Giudice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Trevisani came out of the goal and Arturo Del Giudice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Petrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Amedeo Mucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amedeo Cardillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Trevisani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Anselmo Marcucci hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, Bernolda AFC's Ciro Como shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amedeo Mucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bernolda AFC reached it. After 44 played minutes Bernolda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Fagnani. In the 47th minute Ciro Schiavo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Trevisani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Schiavo to strike the kick off in the second half. Dai Niru FC's Amedeo Mucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Dai Niru FC from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Ciro Schiavo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Trevisani. Bernolda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Schiavo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 60 minutes into the game, Anthony Fagnani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dai Niru FC's Aldo Renzi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 63rd minute, Ciro Schiavo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes, Bernolda AFC's Bruno Romino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amedeo Mucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bernolda AFC reached it. After 65 played minutes Bernolda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Romino. 67 minutes into the game, Ciro Schiavo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dennis Trevisani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Davide Finocchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernolda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Finocchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amedeo Mucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dai Niru FC's Ciro Schiavo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bernolda AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Anthony Fagnani made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dai Niru FC's Aldo Renzi. Ciro Schiavo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dennis Trevisani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Schiavo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Ciro Schiavo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bernolda AFC's Dennis Trevisani. Dennis Trevisani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amedeo Mucci made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Alexander Prisco sent off a good shot on target. Dennis Trevisani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Schiavo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Dai Niru FC's Ciro Schiavo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bernolda AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute Attilio Ciccarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Trevisani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Schiavo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dennis Trevisani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Schiavo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dai Niru FC had played much better football throughout.
