The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marina Di Palidoro FC's Concetto Egger got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nozarego's Frank Vierchowod got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Nozarego getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dennis Troiani hit a great ball. Concetto Egger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carlo Manzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filippo Fini might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Speranza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filippo Fini ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Bernardo Pardini put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Speranza. In the 32nd minute, Bernardo Pardini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nozarego's zone, Achille De Francesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Manzi came out of the goal and Achille De Francesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Concetto Egger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Dennis Troiani didn't quite understand what happened when in the 48 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filippo Fini made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Filippo Fini took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Armando Speranza to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Filippo Fini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nozarego's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Fini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Speranza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Achille De Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Armando Speranza managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Nozarego's Bernardo Pardini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Egger in the 66th minute of play forced Nozarego's goalkeeper Carlo Manzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto Egger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Marina Di Palidoro FC got a freekick which was hit by Felice Muzi. Marina Di Palidoro FC's Armando Speranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Fini in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achille De Francesco in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Manzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nozarego had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
