Alvaro Di Lillo was a little too slow when Amedeo Martorella got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Borganzo's zone, Amerigo Giordani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Di Lillo came out of the goal and Amerigo Giordani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andrea De Filippo fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WSG's protests and gave Andrea De Filippo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, WSG's Andrea De Filippo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Alvaro Di Lillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amedeo Martorella showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Giordani in the 39th minute of play forced Borganzo's goalkeeper Alvaro Di Lillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Di Carlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Amerigo Giordani managed to get in a good position for a shot. WSG's supporters rose to their feet, but Amerigo Giordani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Di Lillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Giordani in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Di Lillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amerigo Giordani scored 5-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Di Lillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Di Lillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea De Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerigo Giordani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alvaro Di Lillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amerigo Imperiale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The WSG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A very good chance. 7-0 became the score in the 93rd minute when Amerigo Giordani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. WSG walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
