Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marengo's Franco Preda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Magreta FC's Emiliano Bearzot got control of the ball when Franco Preda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Bearzot was a little too slow when Franco Preda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Franco Preda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bearzot having to interfere. If Ferruccio Pilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marengo's Ferruccio Pilla got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florian Lavatrice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ferdinando Garibaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Marulli kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Magreta FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Damiano Marulli hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franco Preda in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Bearzot saved Magreta FC from getting behind. Emiliano Bearzot was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Franco Preda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franco Preda really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Edmondo Berti made the kick off in the second half. Marengo's Franco Preda got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Florian Lavatrice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magreta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Lavatrice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magreta FC's Emiliano Bearzot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Preda in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Florian Lavatrice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magreta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Lavatrice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demetrio Taraborrelli's late challenge caught a Magreta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demetrio Taraborrelli helped the player get up and apologised. Demetrio Taraborrelli hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Marengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Di Tommaso to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Franco Preda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Preda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Bearzot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Pilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinando Garibaldi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Lavatrice in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Marengo's goalkeeper Ferdinando Garibaldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florian Lavatrice.
