Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudio Di Luzio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Attilio Battisti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Rago during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Galliate Lombardo AFC's Edoardo Tartaglia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Galliate Lombardo AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Laurenti in the 19th minute of play forced Cavriago AFC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Calabrese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Corrado Mazzone fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavriago AFC's protests and gave Corrado Mazzone a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cavriago AFC's Corrado Mazzone got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Dario Di Falco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cavriago AFC's Anfilogino Calabrese didn't even have to move. Anfilogino Calabrese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Silvestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Anfilogino Calabrese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Silvestre in the 29th minute of play. Fabio Laurenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Calabrese having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Emilio Silvestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Calabrese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Galliate Lombardo AFC's zone, Attilio Battisti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edoardo Tartaglia came out of the goal and Attilio Battisti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anfilogino Calabrese came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Galliate Lombardo AFC's Fabio Laurenti. But to his dismay, Fabio Laurenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The wind increased when Fabio Laurenti made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Laurenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edoardo Tartaglia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Di Luzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Di Luzio in the 60th minute of play forced Galliate Lombardo AFC's goalkeeper Edoardo Tartaglia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Silvestre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anfilogino Calabrese read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Corrado Mazzone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Silvestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Calabrese having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Dario Chitarroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Pelliccia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Bruno Mian charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Mian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudio Di Luzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Tartaglia having to interfere. Edoardo Tartaglia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Battisti in the 86th minute of play. Claudio Di Luzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edoardo Tartaglia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emilio Silvestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attilio Battisti in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edoardo Tartaglia saved Galliate Lombardo AFC from getting behind. The Galliate Lombardo AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
