With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Addari in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carter Bellone saved Capuccini from getting behind. After having played for 12 minutes, Flavio Addari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firenze AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Addari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio De Feo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Firenze AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Capuccini:s goal. In the 22nd match minute, Capuccini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano De Matteis to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Buccella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Giusto having to interfere. Cesare Giusto was a little too slow when Anselmo Buccella got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Firenze AFC's zone, Anselmo Buccella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Giusto came out of the goal and Anselmo Buccella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Firenze AFC's goalkeeper Cesare Giusto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide Crognale. Demetrio Punta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Cesare Giusto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Crognale in the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Adriano Iezzi made the kick off in the second half. Cristoforo Di Piazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Addari kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Capuccini's Ciro Bartolucci got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Bartolucci in the 61st minute of play forced Firenze AFC's goalkeeper Cesare Giusto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Capuccini got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano De Matteis. The supporters of Firenze AFC booed when Capuccini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Crognale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Anselmo Buccella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesare Giusto was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 79 minutes into the match, Firenze AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Bartolucci came free, but Cesare Giusto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Pellegrini hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Davide Crognale made a precise shot to the right of Cesare Giusto. Firenze AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 86 played minutes Firenze AFC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Addari. Dave Talone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesare Giusto. Firenze AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Capuccini's Davide Crognale got a free kick in the 89th minute. Capuccini's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
