Attilio Salerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Giolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fortunato Bottega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Salerni in the 28th minute of play forced Ambrosiana Inter's goalkeeper Fortunato Bottega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto De Palma's late challenge caught a Trevignano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto De Palma helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Rotili in the 38th minute of play forced Trevignano's goalkeeper Antonio Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ambrosiana Inter's goalkeeper Fortunato Bottega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Attilio Salerni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Bottega having to interfere. Attilio Salerni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Bottega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Giolo in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dave Rotili made the kick off in the second half. If Fabio Giolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the game, Dario Berardini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ambrosiana Inter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trevignano the free kick. In the 54th minute, Dario Berardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Salerni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Antonio Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Andreola in the 73rd minute of the match. If Attilio Salerni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Berardini hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Fabiano Bottaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trevignano's Fabio Giolo managed to work through Ambrosiana Inter's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fabio Giolo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Fabio Giolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fortunato Bottega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trevignano were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
