After having played for 14 minutes, Adriano Candeloro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tarantanight's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Candeloro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Pensa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Felice Caruso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerveteri FC's Felice Caruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Laudadio in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, tarantanight's Adriano Candeloro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felice Caruso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cerveteri FC's Claudio Finocchi got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Adriano Candeloro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adriano Candeloro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Alberico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind tarantanight's goalkeeper Amedeo Zarrella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfonso Carota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, tarantanight's Beppe Alberico got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Edmondo Giardino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tarantanight's Amedeo Zarrella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amedeo Zarrella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Carota in the 62nd minute of the match. If Alfonso Carota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Pensa in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felice Caruso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 90 minutes, Beppe Alberico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tarantanight's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Alberico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
