Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fulvio Di Natale took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 played minutes Basiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Di Natale. Basiago FC's Cristoforo De Tommasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Basiago FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute of the match, Christian Orsi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristoforo De Tommasi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Marziali in the 25th minute of play forced Mezzanego's goalkeeper Cosimo Di Bernardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Di Bernardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Marziali in the 30th minute of play. If Concetto Marziali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the game, Frank Paganelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cristoforo De Tommasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Orsi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Basiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Di Natale. Edmondo Sangermano's late challenge caught a Mezzanego's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmondo Sangermano helped the player get up and apologised. Edmondo Sangermano hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Cristoforo De Tommasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Orsi in the 78th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Basiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Marziali. Cosimo Di Bernardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Di Natale, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mezzanego's zone, Fulvio Di Natale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosimo Di Bernardo came out of the goal and Fulvio Di Natale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 100 minutes into the match, Basiago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Paganelli came free, but Cristoforo De Tommasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mezzanego's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
