Ennio Miccoli took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberigo Miccoli. Alberigo Miccoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ennio Miccoli scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberigo Miccoli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Monte Donato AFC's Domenico Piscitelli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ennio Miccoli in the 9 minute of the game. Onuralp Batıkan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrea Cicchini came out and tried to block the shot, but Onuralp Batıkan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 11th minute. In the 14th match minute, INTER MILAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Tellini to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Monte Donato AFC's José Carlos Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrea Cicchini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberigo Miccoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Serena, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the INTER MILAN defense, Fabiano Romano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrea Cicchini. The INTER MILAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Cicchini should have stopped the shot. Andrea Cicchini made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Carlos Marinho in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes INTER MILAN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fedele Vitale who took care of the corner kick. Alberigo Miccoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Ricciuti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, INTER MILAN's Aurelio Ricciuti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberigo Miccoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 38 minutes into the game, Aldo Serena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Alberigo Miccoli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberigo Miccoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Serena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Miccoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Serena in the 44th minute of play. Andrea Cicchini made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when José Carlos Marinho sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Carlos Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, INTER MILAN's Diego Tellini got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Carlos Marinho in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Cicchini saved INTER MILAN from getting behind. When Onuralp Batıkan fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Donato AFC's protests and gave Onuralp Batıkan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Onuralp Batıkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, INTER MILAN's Aldo Serena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Monte Donato AFC's Alberigo Miccoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Monte Donato AFC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurelio Ricciuti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberigo Miccoli. That made the score 2-6 in the 63 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monte Donato AFC's José Carlos Marinho got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Marinho in the 71st minute of play forced INTER MILAN's goalkeeper Andrea Cicchini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Monte Donato AFC's Alberigo Miccoli got control of the ball when Amedeo Stellato tried to sneak it across the goal line. Monte Donato AFC's Onuralp Batıkan got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Onuralp Batıkan off the ground. In the 75th minute, Onuralp Batıkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monte Donato AFC's Alberigo Miccoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Serena in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Aldo Serena notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Monte Donato AFC's Alberigo Miccoli. Alberigo Miccoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Monte Donato AFC's Alberigo Miccoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Leone in the 87th minute of play. Ennio Miccoli came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alberigo Miccoli could save by the left post. José Carlos Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Andrea Cicchini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 96th minute of the game was made by Cristiano Pani with Alberto Bravo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The Monte Donato AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching INTER MILAN's performance. The match ended with a win for INTER MILAN.
