Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugon Seliga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Alessandro Negrini fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alberigo Franco, passed just outside the right post. Alberigo Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Iob in the 5th minute. Reàl Nanarià's Alessandro Negrini was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Ennio Della Rocca notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Reàl Nanarià's Şenol Albay. Şenol Albay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mezzavalle's Alberigo Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Mezzavalle from getting a goal against them. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Reàl Nanarià's Alessandro Negrini in the 22nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alberigo Franco was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mezzavalle through an amazing save. Alberigo Franco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 34th minute Fedele Molinaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Albay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Iob might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberigo Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Iob ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 38 minutes, Dario Iob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reàl Nanarià's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Iob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Mezzavalle a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ettore De Paolis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Reàl Nanarià's Şenol Albay. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Zoccolo made a kick off. In the 58th minute Alessandro Negrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alessandro Negrini came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Reàl Nanarià fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Negrini couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mezzavalle's Ennio Della Rocca got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hugon Seliga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alberigo Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Di Bernardo in the 66th minute of play forced Reàl Nanarià's goalkeeper Şenol Albay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes, Arrigo Bolognesi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mezzavalle and the Reàl Nanarià players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arrigo Bolognesi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match, Arturo Zoccolo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şenol Albay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Şenol Albay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Della Rocca in the 81st minute of play. Reàl Nanarià's Alessandro Negrini got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Iob in the 85th minute of play forced Mezzavalle's goalkeeper Alberigo Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şenol Albay came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mezzavalle's Fedele Molinaro. But to his dismay, Fedele Molinaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Fedele Molinaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Reàl Nanarià's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Zoccolo came free, but Şenol Albay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mezzavalle supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mezzavalle would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
