After having played for 7 minutes, Ermanno Bottaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafiki United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Bottaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Bottaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Carlo Di Pasquale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tayyip Akyol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Di Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Cosimo Di Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyip Akyol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosimo Di Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. De Matthaéis's Carlo Di Pasquale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Santo in the 27th minute of play. Ciccio Gaspari kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Carlo Di Pasquale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Matthaéis's Emilio Chiarelli got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Ciccio Gaspari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Marulli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Di Pasquale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Rafiki United's Ermanno Bottaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlo Di Pasquale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ermanno Bottaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafiki United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Bottaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Di Pasquale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlo Di Pasquale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Santo was the one to do the kick off. Carlo Di Pasquale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demetrio Cesare charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Cesare the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to De Matthaéis getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Demetrio Cesare hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Alexander Santo made a precise shot to the right of Carlo Di Pasquale. De Matthaéis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Ermanno Bottaro came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Rafiki United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Bottaro couldn't finish the play. In the 78th match minute, De Matthaéis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Guida to maneuver through the defense. Rafiki United's Emanuele Flamini couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for De Matthaéis. Emilio Chiarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tayyip Akyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tayyip Akyol came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by De Matthaéis's Emilio Chiarelli. But to his dismay, Emilio Chiarelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cosimo Di Massa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tayyip Akyol came out and tried to block the shot, but Cosimo Di Massa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 89th minute. A collision led to Rafiki United getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ciro Marulli hit a great ball.
